What is Lisk?
Although Lisk is therefore easier to code, there is still controversy on whether or not its ease of use will also limit its performance and capabilities. It's often argued that the Ethereum platform, although harder to learn, will be a better long-term base for DApps (check videos below for details).
The other major difference unique to Lisk is that DApps are formed on a "side-chain" rather than as smart-contracts on the platform's main chain (like in Ethereum). Being on a side-chain will give DApps their own, independent ledger and will not run the risk of slowing down the main chain.
It should be noted that Lisk has NOT yet launched their operating system for creating DApps. There has been a lot of speculation around the launch, which is said to be in 2018, and the price of Lisk has increased significantly in recent months. Futher, Lisk has announced they are going to rebrand to a new name and logo soon, which is usually a good thing in the crypto world.

Who is on Lisk's Team?
The crypto was created by Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows, who are both still working on the project. Although Lisk doesn't have any big-named developers, they do seem to have a great team that comes from all over the world. You can view their full team here.
